Creosoted sleepers should not be used where there is a risk of frequent skin contact, or where they may come into direct contact with foodstuffs.

Our reclaimed railway sleepers are very good quality, however, as with all timber, they may contain slight shakes (slight splitting of the grain) and some edges could be slightly rounded. This adds to the character of the finished feature.

All re-claimed used sleepers have at sometime been creosoted (see warning).

Cutting to length

We can cut to your approximate required length. Please note that cutting is done with a chain saw, not a precision saw, therefore, we cannot guarantee the cutting to exact measurements.
